Like many people, we love watching the Olympics. We've been glued to the coverage the past few days.
We've been cheering on Moorhead native Mark Ladwig in the figure skating pairs. He and his partner finished 10th, which is amazing!
Last night we were watching one of the skiing races when Robbie Dixon of Canada crashed. Grace knew something was wrong. In classic Grace fashion she asked "What happened?" (Grace asks this approximately 5 times every 3 seconds while we watch TV, especially during the news!). I told her the man crashed. She responded "Oh.".
Soon she once again asked "What happened?". I told her the man had an owie and he would probably have to see a doctor. (He was moving so it wasn't a gruesome scene or anything.)
Grace thought a bit and responded "Get band-aid and a sticker?".
Yep, Grace, I'm sure when he sees his doctor he'll get a band-aid and a sticker. After all, that's what doctors do, right? Even Olympic doctors!
P.S. I will be working on a decent update - hang tight!!! :)
