Feels like summertime

It is the season of sandals and sunglasses! We're loving it!

I'm home from my mtgs in Grand Forks. As always, good to be home.

Travis has been off of narcotics since yesterday morning - yeah!!! (Now how often does one blog about that?!?). His throat feels just fine. Has a follow-up appt. with the ENT tomorrow.

Grace got new earmolds made today - more purple and glitter for her earmolds. Imagine that.

Tomorrow night is Family Fun Night at school (school carnival/fundraiser). It was supposed to be in early April, but we were in flood insanity then, so it was postponed. Carson is so excited - we'll all have a great time.

We have an appt for Grace's ankles/feet on Monday. She's had ankle supports/inserts since last fall. Her strength has really improved, so it is time to re-evaluate if she still needs them and if so, what they should look like.

Carson has his H&P on Monday. We might have to explain the tonsils then...we'll see. He had labs last night and they look great. Next round in a month.

His interpreter at school came down with shingles. I can empathize - I had them 7 years ago. We're watching Carson closely for any signs of chicken pox (they could be quite scary for Carson, but we'd head to the Cities for IV anti-viral therapy). I had to move in with my Mom for nearly 2 weeks when I had them...I love my Mom dearly, but it was a long stretch to be away from my boys! As Trav and I commented today "It's always something!".

That's it for now - I'm off to read journal articles!

Lots of fun appointments for all of you Kitch people! I am sure all of those earmolds and inserts will turn out snazzy! I hope to see you all soon! I miss you guys!
