It has been a long and crazy week - at work and at home. We're looking forward to the holiday weekend.
Mom is doing great - she behaved quite well as a nurse-turned-patient. I enjoyed having to go up and sign her out, as she needed a 'responsible adult' to sign for her. I won't let her live that down! The surgeon did find two spots instead of one that weren't in good shape on her knee, so he repaired both and she has a brace to wear for the next six weeks. She and Grandma are quite the pair now!
Exciting news this evening - Paityn is being moved out of the PICU tomorrow! YEAH! She still needs prayers for her kidneys. Keep the pee pee dances coming.
Tonight was back-to-school night for Carson. He has a great classroom teacher. Lots of changes for him this year - new speech teacher, new interpreter and new classroom teacher. His favorite, favorite, favorite teacher - Mrs. Gibbons - continues to be his hard-of-hearing teacher. We are so very thankful for that - she is an outstanding teacher and advocate for Carson. Looks like we're gearing up for a great year.
Got to run to get some packing done tonight - yeah for a beautiful weekend - loving the great temps!
