We got more snow, but thankfully it has melted. There are still patches here and there but the ground isn't covered anymore. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 50's, so hopefully we'll enjoy some outdoor time. We are looking forward to buds on trees and seeing more and more green outside! Can't wait to get digging into our flowers and garden!
Carson had horse therapy (indoors) today and he is learning more about giving cues to the horse using his feet. He also spent more time trotting. He loves it!
Carson missed Thursday and Friday from school - he had a very bad cough and bad cold. He seems to have turned the corner and is feeling better today. Daddy is sick though and I'm not feeling that great either now. Guess we're a family that likes to share things (for better or for worse).
I talked to MAW yesterday - it is virtually guaranteed that our first choice date range in November will be the trip date (November 8 - 15). We'll have confirmation within the next month or so. It will be a perfect time in the semester for Trav and I to be away from work for a few days (since Tuesday of that week is Veteran's Day it is even better). Our Wish Cooridnator gave me a lot of tips and talked about how everything will work. MAW is amazing - they take care of so many things! It will be a magical trip and we're glad we waited until Carson is older (he'll be 7 1/2) so he'll remember his trip. The timing will be great as well - our adoptive home study should be done and we'll be (hopefully) in the parent profile book by that point. We picked up a couple of guidebooks at Barnes and Noble today - Carson is all smiles as he pages through them. At quick glance there are only a few rides that won't be an option for him (due to his heart) but there will be many that will be just fine, so we'll concentrate on those! We're looking at a few side trips as well to Tampa and the Atlantic Ocean area.
That's all for today - time to do a few more things before (hopefully) an early bedtime for the three sick-os. :)
P.S. You can leave notes in the comments - we love to read them!

Hi Kitch family!
Just had to check in to see how things were going. I'm so glad Carson is enjoying his horse therapy. Carly loved it when she was in it. So exciting getting that paperwork done & coming up on your home study. You're a wonderful family & the new little miracle is going to be very blessed. Will follow for updates. :)
