Made it!

It's been a busy and crazy few weeks, but we made it! Commencement is over (over 1,100 students participated - our largest ceremony ever) and NDSU's semester is done as well. MSCTC wraps up this week for Trav. The end of the semester is a busy one, but it is a different kind of busy. More processes to be run, etc. versus students coming in.

Carson came home early from school on Friday - he had a slight fever. Thankfully, after a restful afternoon/night, he was doing better on Saturday. We went to a graduation party for one of his 'girls' - Sherryse. He was so excited to see her and her family. You are so special to us, Sherryse!

I was blessed with a wonderful Mother's Day. We went to Sunday School/Church and then came home for french toast. Then we got outside and spent most of the day outdoors. I planted a bunch of flowers and weeded through our perennial bed. Trav worked on bricking in an area near the driveway that we're going to rock in. Also planted one tree - we have a bunch more to plant. Maybe next weekend we can get the garden in. We have rabbit fence for the garden - hopefully they can't jump 48"! We are also starting to plan our patio area - we're planning to use patio blocks for that area. We also need to stain Carson's playset and our outdoor furniture. Didn't get to work on the staining projects though. So much to do! If we can keep nice weather on the weekends perhaps we'll be done with everything by September!?!

We have our first homestudy meeting this week with our social worker. We meet with her on Wednesday - our 14th wedding anniversary! We'll have 2-3 meetings with her. Will know more after Wednesday. We are going to get started on our profile soon too.

Cub scouts and school are winding down for Carson - he has less than a month left of first grade! He's looking forward to his summer activities - horse riding, tennis, golf, art classes, cub scout camp, baseball and more.

Time to get ready for work - hope all is well and thanks for checking in!
