We had a great time at the wedding last weekend. Steven and Stacy are a wonderful couple and we are so happy for them!
Carson was a bit disappointed that we couldn't make a birthday cake for Daddy - his BD was on Saturday. Carson wanted to make a cake at the hotel! Needless to say, we made one Monday morning. Not great timing in Carson's book, but it'll suffice.
Carson had baseball on Monday night and both Grammy and Papa Chip got to watch. Papa Chip was back in town for a follow-up appointment. He has appts. each of the next two Mondays as well, so we'll see quite a bit of him. Carson loves baseball - he hit a great pop fly during the game. He LOVES when the ball goes high. Much more dramatic than a grounder.
The three of us went to a Redhawks game on Tuesday night. Carson's ball team was introduced on the field. We enjoyed the game...well the part we were there for. We left early since it was getting so late. The Hawks won, so that was a good deal!
Yesterday tennis and horse therapy were canceled because of the rain. Carson spent a lot of time indoors yesterday and he was bummed by it. He loves the outdoors - he is such a summertime kid!
