Progress

I feel like I keep saying it but we are getting more and more done outside! Travis (being the bored man that he is apparently) decided to put timbers in to border around the garden this weekend. It looks so nice! Now he's in search of a better fence system. No, wire fence isn't attractive. It was temporary and we knew that. Now is the time for sprucing it up a bit. He has something specific in mind and he is still on the hunt. Something that looks nice but will keep jackrabbits the size of small dogs out. More to come...

The new trees are planted, the beds have all been weeded again (or de-weeded - I didn't ADD weeds) and we actually got some relaxation time outside this weekend too (along with some sun for the two of us - Carson was coated in SPF 50). We LOVE our patio. :)

Carson had a great time running through the sprinklers and making mud in a few spots. I kept a keen eye out for voles (field mice). We are still in the land of too many vacant lots nearby and I keep seeing a little rodent here and there. Yuck! Guess that's what we get for building in an area that was a field just a few years ago.

We had a great time at MSUM on Friday - Carson loved the fireworks. He fell asleep for the last 5-10 minutes and remarked the next day that 'the fireworks made him sleepy!'. Hmmmmm....had nothing to do with the fact it was 10:45 p.m.?!?

Chris and Hilary were here on both ways through to Bainville & back - always great to see them! Carson adores them, so he had a fun time with them too.

I'm gearing up at work for another four days of freshmen orientation. It'll make the week fly by! Then we're out to Mandan for my Godson/Cousin's wedding this weekend.

That's all from here - have a great week!
