Happy Easter!

We've had a very wonderful and special Easter weekend.

We got the kids' pic with the Easter bunny on Friday. We also applied for Grace's new SS card as well as her passport!

Yesterday we enjoyed an outdoor Easter egg hunt - the kids had a wonderful time and we had a great time watching them! Trav and Carson went to a hockey game (Canada vs. Switzerland) in the World U18 Championships that are in town. They had a lot of fun. The girls stayed home - we put our jammies on, did each other's hair (Grace had piggie tails, mine was kinda crazy - not sure what Grace's vision was for my hair...), and of course, we talked about boys - Daddy and brother!

Today was busy - the Easter bunny visited, we had church, we were off to Grammy's houseful for Easter and then back home to color eggs. We've been meaning to color eggs since Friday but just hadn't managed to get it in. It was so much fun! Then we had a girls vs. boys hide and seek game. Grace is such a hoot at hide and seek. Once we get into a spot, she starts to giggle or count. Carson doesn't hear her, so we're safe for quite some time. Tonight we hid in the kids' bathtub and the bottom of the linen closet (yes, we were cozy!). The boys hid in the shower and Trav's closet. Both kids just love it! After that, the eggs were dry enough to crack open and eat!

I have a mountain of pics to upload. I'm so behind! But first, I'm off to the windy city - I have a conference in Chicago Monday - Thursday. I'll be back just in time for the second river crest.

Happy Easter to all!

Are you home yet this evening (Thur), or not until tomorrow? I know that kids will be excited to have you back.

Oh, what special family fun! I'd have a hard time "hiding and seeking", but I had a fun time watching you in my mind. Love, Aunt Diane
