The last few weeks...

Have been full of lots of fun!

We had a great time at the Cully's Kids picnic.  Matt is so down-to-earth and committed to causes for kids.  He and Trav chatted about hockey for a bit (which I know Trav didn't enjoy AT ALL!).  Grace was pretty star-struck when we told her he played hockey and we cheered for him on TV.  She flirted with him for a bit while posing for pics.  Then she started to pick her nose, so I think the 'moment' ended.  ;)  Carson was not impressed and really just wanted to check out some of the carnival give-aways he got.

We had a great time at the wedding.  Kasey was a beautiful bride!  The kids did such an awesome job!  Carson stood up front with the groomsmen during the ceremony until the designated time.  Then he brought the rings to the Pastor, presented them from the pillow and then came to sit with us.  (Grace sat with us during the ceremony.)  At the end of the ceremony, the kids followed Kasey and Ryan up the aisle.  They both were so adorable!

The 'downer' to the day was that I woke up covered in hives.  I went to the doc just after getting Grace started at her hair appt.  Trav waited for her and then took the kids home.  I had just finished an antibiotic I'd taken many times before in my nearly 39 years.  Now I'm allergic to Sulfa meds.  Joy!  Thanks to some steroids and anti-itch meds I'm feeling much better.  Just ask Trav how 'fun' I was to be around on Saturday.

We had three huge storms roll through early Tuesday morning.  We also got at least several inches of rain (along with wind, thunder, lightning) and left us with less-than-great-nights-of-sleep.

Now we are gearing up for the Transplant Games!
