I am so happy it is Friday! It's been a busy week and we're excited for a three day weekend. We've had freshman orientation each day this week and it continues each day next week at NDSU. They are energy-filled days. I love orientation but it's also great when it's wrapped up for the summer too. So that's what this week and next have/will entail every day.
Trav was back in Wadena this week for class (it is split between Detriot Lakes and Wadena). He said the devastation from the tornado two weeks ago is unimaginable. Debris has been cleared away and so many parts of town are utterly devastated.
After orientation and Grace's horse therapy session last night we did pool some fireworks with a neighbor and celebrate Canada Day. All of the kids had a great time. Too bad the mosquitoes came out!
We still haven't quite decided what to do this weekend. We'll take in festivities at MSUM (big fireworks display) on Sunday evening. Other than that, we haven't decided it. Stay tuned! Hope everyone had a wonderful Canada Day and have a great 4th of July!
