Juggling act

First - I love the time change. Another hour added to the day? Great! What I don't love is being up at 4:15 a.m. I have a crazy internal clock and often don't need an alarm clock to wake up. This is very different from my college days - I often used three alarm clocks to get to class on time. They would be strategically placed around my room. What happened? Carson. Not so much him, I guess. Carson being sick and life in a hospital. It permanently affected my sleep. Now I get much less sleep and wake up quite early. Anyway, time change is an adjustment for my brain. I know I'll adjust about the time we fly to Orlando and then will need to adjust to another time zone. :-)

Second - we have so much to do this week! I know it'll all get done, but 'zoom, zoom, zoom'! We've started packing. Carson still wants to pack pretty much everything. I've convinced him his tooth fairy pillow can stay home. For now.

Travis worked very hard in the basement (again) this weekend. He stained the trim and doors. They look great. We're on the home stretch! The space won't be done before we leave, but it will be very, very close. If all comes together, it will be done before Thanksgiving. It's crazy to think that when we return it will be a week before Thanksgiving.

Next few days are busy with some extra stuff too. Carson's annual school meeting is tomorrow afternoon. Looks like Grace will need to join us...she's typically pretty good sitting in her stroller, so hopefully that will be the case tomorrow too! :-) Tomorrow is also the first day of 'staff' for Grace. She was approved for PCA services. The very exciting part is that her caregiver this fall has been a staff member of Carson's. She's not on his current schedule due to some other clients, but it worked out for her to work with Grace. We are SO excited. Liz knows us, knows our home, etc. so well. Now she just needs to get to know Grace! I have a Board meeting tomorrow afternoon as well and somewhere in there I will vote. Perhaps tomorrow morning after Grace's PT.

I have a dental appt. on Wednesday morning and a chiropractor appt. on Thursday morning. Carson has labs Wednesday night too.

Yes, it will all get done, but I get a little tired thinking about what a busy week it will be. Perhaps I should sleep on it! Here's to a great week!
