Girl germs

It is our turn for germs. Guess those boys think they are hot stuff having their tonsils out an all. :-) Grace had a few bug bites that really started to morph early this week - with some antibiotic ointment they were getting better, but now we were seeing sores in other areas. A quick trip to the doc revealed impetigo. She's on oral antibiotics for 10 days and we're already seeing some improvement. She wasn't herself Monday - yesterday, but is doing a little better today. I developed a bladder infection. Such good times! We're both on the mend.

We had a neighborhood BBQ at our place last night. Lots of fun and it ended with smores on the firepit. Yum! All of the kids had fun too. Carson and his Brecken are so cute. Her mom told me last night that Carson told Brecken that he has her in his heart. Sorry Danie and Sherryse - looks like Carson might be off the market for a bit!

I have today and tomorrow off from work. Working on dissertation and prepping tomorrow for a rummage sale at my Mom's on Saturday. She is in a great location, so will have more traffic than we had here earlier this summer. We plan to take in the Street Fair tomorrow as well.

Grace and I had a low-key morning of cuddles, tickles, tea party while Carson and Daddy were at Carson's tennis lessons. Tomorrow morning is the tennis carnival, so Grace and I will go to that. Carson will be done with golf on Monday. Grace has her last horse therapy session tonight until fall. We've signed her up for a six-week session this fall, since she loves it so much. Will likely look at 12 weeks for next summer.

I've also spent some time sorting and uploading pics to Shutterfly and will be sharing soon - hopefully before the end of the weekend!

We're enjoying summer, but with a 70 degree day, we'd sure love temps to be a bit warmer! Oh well - at least it isn't winter!
