Here we are

We were greeted home on Sunday evening by a very excited Miss Grace and a happy Daddy too. Hugs all around. Carson was also eager to see and spend time with his girlfriend. After all, they hadn't seen each other since Wednesday.

While there was some unpacking and such, there were cuddles and kisses too.

I had taken Monday off as well, so laundry and housework catch up was in order. I also organized Vacation Bible School crafts for next week.

Trav's last day of summer school was Monday. He's glad to be done for the next month, although he is busy prepping to teach an online course this fall and another one spring semester.

Carson was back to tennis yesterday and also enjoyed some golf with Grammy. He had horse therapy today and it was wonderful - different horse and all was fine.

I'm in the midst of CERT training this week at work - yesterday, today and tomorrow. It is interesting and while I thought it would benefit me more professionally (I do a lot of contingency planning with commencement and we work with Campus Police and notifications to Fargo Police, Bomb Squad, etc. for planning) I think I'm learning more to apply to home and our neighborhood.

I leave tomorrow for a planning meeting in Mankato, MN on Friday. Four of us are going. Will be back late Friday night. Saturday morning is the big 'Elmo' show at the FargoDome. Miss Grace will be so excited!

Oh - if anyone is interested in buying a raffle ticket for 1/4 beef (four chances to win) let us know! Proceeds benefit Riding on Angels' Wings - where the kids go to horse therapy. Tickets are $3/each and I need to know by next week.

Got to pack - I am uploading pics through the night so sometime tomorrow I should have them on Shutterfly. Stay tuned!
