So if fall blows in like a lion, what will that mean for the winter?
We had a beautiful weekend - especially Saturday. Dare I say it was almost hot? We did some stuff around the house in the morning, I worked at church for a bit - the Education Board got the Sunday School rooms ready, etc. The boys called Nana to wish her a Happy Birthday too! When Grace woke up from her nap the four of us plus we brought along a neighbor kid all went to Rheault Farm in Fargo for their annual fall festival. We've gone for so many years - it is a fun fall treat and the weather typically cooperates. :) The boys made glitter pumpkins, decorated cookies, made paper bag hats, watched a clown show, played some carnival games (toss the hula hoop on a pumpkin, anyone?), played on some inflatable games and finally, picked out some pumpkins. The boys had so much fun. Grace took it all in and she had a great time too.
That evening we had a few neighbors over for a fire around our fire pit. It was the perfect evening. We made smores and visited.
Sunday was the start of Sunday School for Carson. For the first time, I'm not teaching this fall. It feels strange! I helped out with a big 'kick-off' project at both Sunday School hours. Trav was with Carson (to sign, etc.) and Grace 'helped' me out. She was such a trooper in the baby carrier and stroller. She wanted in to "brother's" Sunday School room so badly. She kept pointing to the room. When she could see him through the glass in the door she was beside herself! We made it through and she was thrilled to be by his side again. :)
Had some playtime outside yesterday as well. Overall, it was a relaxing weekend.
Today brought the start of my official start back to work. It went well. I kept telling myself that I'll be home tomorrow and that helped. I didn't have too much to dig out from and managed to get through quite a bit.
I have been trying to dig through pics the past few days. I have not ordered digital prints for a long, long, long time. Way too long. I am almost there. It's exciting to now order pics to scrapbook for TWO kids. I know I'm overdue in sharing pics here. No surprise, I have pics to share.
Tomorrow is Great Grandma's new battery placement for her pacemaker. Grace and I will be up at the hospital for a stretch. Prayers that all goes well.
As I close tonight, I'm listening to the wind howl. Yes, howl. The wind is shaking the house. Not a blissful start to fall. Here's hoping some beautiful warm fall temps are on their way.

Prayers for grandma! I hope everything goes well.
I am glad to hear that everything is well with the kiddos. I miss you guys! I will be up again near the end of October. If you happen to make any trips to the cities, don't forget about a certain someone . . .
