Back-to-school night is Thursday night. Carson is quite excited for third grade. We've been working on getting him to bed earlier and earlier. He was quite tired most of the day on Saturday. Towards the end of supper he said he wanted to go and lay down on the couch. Within minutes, he was sleeping. At 5:30 p.m.!!! Later, Trav carried him up to bed and he slept until 7:30 a.m. WOW!!! He was sleeping by 8:15 last night, so we are impressed!
We're planning for a fun weekend that has really just come together, but haven't told Carson yet. (Grace will say 'yep' and 'nope' to nearly everything, so we won't really ask for her opinion on our weekend plans...not that she doesn't get a vote, but that vote could change every 2 minutes!).
We'll head out early Saturday morning for the Cities. We plan to visit Papa and Nana in St. Cloud - need to call you two and see if you'll be around! We are going to visit the Science Museum on Saturday afternoon. Probably get in a little bit of shopping for school too - Carson needs one more pair of shoes.
On Sunday we're off to Valleyfair! We're probably the only Minnesotans who have never been to Valleyfair (keep in mind we're transplants to MN). Looks like we'll have a fun and busy day. Hope the weather cooperates!
We're staying with Liver Buddy 'Auntie Marisa' Saturday and Sunday night. We hope to get back on the road and home fairly early on Monday - school starts on Tuesday for Carson and Grace starts a playgroup on Wednesday! (Playgroup is every Monday and Wednesday morning!)

YOU'VE NEVER BEEN TO VALLEYFAIR?!?! In the words of Annie . . . "oh my goodness, oh my goodness," what a travis-ty.
Don't fall over, Sherryse, but we've never been to MN's State Fair either!
I've been to ND's State Fair a ton of times - I used to show cattle at it and have all of my 4-H projects. :-)
We're trying to get into the groove...we're just a little slow!
