We celebrate our two miracles and that we are a family of four.
Eight years ago today Carson received his gift of life. In many ways his 'liver birthday' is more significant than his birthday. How many people have a second chance at life? We are forever grateful to our precious donor family and that they chose for their little loved one to live on through Carson. We're thankful too for the prayer warriors who have lifted Carson up in prayer on many occasions. He is proof of the power of prayer!

One year ago today Grace's adoption was finalized on a very snowy day. In many ways today is more significant than her birthday too. It's the day she legally became Grace Victoria Kitch and truly our little girl. We are also beyond grateful to Grace's birth family - that they made the decision of love to place her for adoption and that while we were weaving through the process of adoption she was cared for and loved by many special people while in Papa Ron and Nana Jane's home. She has an extensive group of prayer warriors who have seen her through her ups and downs in her journey. We're so grateful to be a part of that extended family.

Now it's time to celebrate and make some special 'December 30, 2009' memories!

Ok... Once again I read your post and started tearing up! I remember both of these events. Through technology, your two miracle events have touched my life! You have such a special family. You are blessed.... twice!
Oh, but I have two beautiful miracle grandchildren. Thank you God, for these blessings ! They are both evidence that God not only exists, but He hears our prayers. He most certainly has a BIG plan for Carson and Grace's lives. They've already accomplished much.
Hugs, kisses, and nuzzles to your nutbrown hair !
Rejoicing and celebrating with you!!!
