January is such a long month. For so many reasons. I don't think I can ever recall an unseasonably warm January. Although I can handle snow, I really, really dislike cold. January is typically filled with sub-zero temps. And, as I've mentioned in previous posts, I'm not a fan of cold temps.
Perhaps taking all of the Christmas decorations down is also a downer and makes the month seem longer.
We lost two of our four angel babies in January.
For so many reasons it is a good month to cuddle up closer with my family and spend a lot of time snuggling with my three most favorite people.
The good news with January is some wonderful and special people have birthdays this month - Nana Jane and now our new nephew Samuel. Congrats to my youngest brother, Chris, my sis-in-law, Hilary as they welcome Samuel Michael to their family. Big brother, Jack, is very proud and happy to be a big brother. We've enjoyed our skype calls to see cousin Sam and we've all proclaimed he is adorable!
Another very awesome part about January - we made the decision to pursue adoption three years ago this month (and now there is an adorable little girl sleeping in her bed in our home).
