Snuggled in

We are snuggled in for the night. We're in the midst of a blizzard. The wind has been howling for several hours and the snow just started. No word yet if the Sunday School program is a 'go' or 'no' for tomorrow yet - we'll keep watching. We're supposed to get about a foot of snow with a lot of wind tonight.

Signing Santa was today - it was wonderful as always. Grace was okay with Santa and even smiled for the pics. When a few snaps were done, so was she (but no tears). She was happier to watch him from a few feet away. Carson was excited to learn that Santa brought seven reindeer with him on this trip! Carson visited with Santa for quite some time and was in awe that Santa knew sign language. Carson asked for some things for himself (Spiderman cup and game) as well as something Elmo for Grace. It was a special event and one that we look forward to every year. I haven't downloaded pics yet, but they are coming!

Travis is getting better...slowly. He is sleeping a lot and his appetite is slowing returning as well. He is still weak - this is going to take him a while to rebound from. When Grace and Carson eat more than Daddy, you know that something isn't quite right yet!

Other than the potential of the Sunday School program tomorrow, we plan to stay close to home. Might try to get a little baking done, but we'll see how the day goes. Certainly a lot of snuggles and cuddles in store!
