We're sitting at a balmy -9 right now. Our high today is supposed to be 2 above. Our first above zero day for the past few days. Brrrr! It's the wind that will really get you!
Travis is doing much, much better. He is cautious and taking it slowly though. He is resting a lot too. It's wonderful that he doesn't teach again until the week of January 12th. He'll have plenty of time to rest up!
Carson has three days left of school, then two weeks of vaca. He's quite excited.
Grace is doing wonderfully. She has discovered there are presents under the tree (but still doesn't realize there is something in the presents). She also enjoys removing bows from the presents (perhaps they are just really large hair bows?). She is going to love Christmas and we're all going to love watching her excitement and wonder.
NDSU's commencement ceremony is Saturday morning and I'm feeling like things are coming together quite nicely. Starting this afternoon I spend nearly 100% of my time at the venue (the FargoDome). I love planning commencement, but am always happy to have it done for another round each semester too!
I am slowly working my way through our Christmas cards and letters - hopefully they are off in the mail before Christmas!
We've been praying for a liver buddy of Carson's named Aiden. Aiden has his transplant nearly 6 years ago (same liver disease as Carson had). Aiden has had so many challenges over the years and is stumping doctors all over the nation at times. Here's a link to Aiden's page: http://www.caringbridge.org/fl/aiden/. Please lift Aiden, his family and his medical team up in your prayers.
