I realized we hadn't shared our big project - the finished basement! We spend so much time down there now. I love the organizer from IKEA - Grace's toys are accessible on the bottom and the Carson-only toys are out of her reach on top. Plus, it's bolted to the wall in three places so it's not going anywhere!
We love the fireplace; Trav's tilework is wonderful. He also tiled the floor in the bathroom.
I think the only thing left is to get some window treatments!
We're so glad we did this project - it took longer, was dustier and more expensive than we had planned, but we are really enjoying the space and have no regrets about finishing it off. We are so grateful to our neighbor, Tim. He really got things going for us. If you are local, here is his website: From Studs to Rugs. He's a great guy and does fantastic work!
