The Beatles were wrong

One would think that "Love is all you need". Well, I'd like to think that the four of us have a whole lot of love. We give each other hugs and kisses all of the time. We make 'sandwiches' with the kids, dance in the kitchen, and are always signing "I love you" and "I really love you".

Well, in addition to love, we all need penicillin.

Yes, we ALL have strep throat.

I've heard the saying "The family who plays together stays together". So what happens to the family who gets infected together?

Needless to say, it has been a low-key day. Only outing was my trip to the pharmacy.

Projects Disinfection and Clean Air went well today. Carson scolded us as 'the house was cold'. We had the fireplace on downstairs and hadn't planned on his trip upstairs. Before long the furnace warmed things up again. Did feel good to have some fresh air in the house (even if the outside temp was 9 above at the time).

We're all tired, despite a few naps today. Carson was the only one that didn't sleep. Go figure...Mr. Immune-Suppressed is doing the best of all of us. Grace isn't too bad - she was a bit whiny today and wanted to be held a lot. Trav felt a bit better this morning and I felt kinda blah. We should be dong better by tomorrow. I AM counting our blessings that this happened on the weekend. No missed school for Carson!

My goodness . . . I am putting in some prayers . . . .

"Dear God. The Kitch's have experienced enough illness in the year 2009. I pray that they have experienced their max of sickness for this year and can enjoy the rest of their year in health!"

My Goodness!! I hadn't checked in for a couple of weeks -- so I had some catching up to do. I'm so sorry about the strep. At least it is all at the same time -- so that you can have it over with; rather than stretch it out over a couple of weeks. Travis - I also had my tonsils out as an adult. You will make it through. Love to you all and LOTS of prayers for returned health. Love, Aunt Diane
