Grace was fever-free this morning! In fact, she was 97 degrees. She giggled as I told her she was a cool cucumber.
We're all happy her fever has subsided. Possibly no one is happier than Carson. On Sunday he thought we should take Grace to the ER, that she needed an IV and a blood draw. He was quite disappointed that we weren't activating our 'ER Emergency Plan'. We had quite the talk about how that yes, when Grace is really sick or if she got hurt we'd go to the ER, but the doctors feel differently about how much closer we need to watch any bugs that he might get (and watch labs, etc.).
I tried to explain we care about and love both he and Grace and that we don't want either one of them sick. That we'll certainly try to make the best decisions for the two of them. And if we need to go to the ER, we will!
Not sure if he bought it, but he told me tonight that he was very happy that Grace didn't need to go to the ER today.
I just love our kids!

Carson you are such a wonderful brother!!!! Grace is VERY lucky to have you as her big brother. I wish I had a big brother JUST LIKE YOU!
Oh, Carson, you make me chuckle. I pity the poor boy who dares to ask your little sister out on a date in about 15 years!!! :) (She'll have to go through YOU first, I'm sure.) Glad to hear Miss Grace is doing better.
