Forever Family Day

Two years ago today we became a family of four.

We can't believe it has already been two years since Miss Grace joined our family.

It's been a lot of princesses, ballerinas, shoes, pink, purple, hair pretties, dolls...well, you get the idea...ever since.

There has been a lot of love too - we all fell in love with her before we even met her and loved her even more when we did finally meet her on August 4 (Carson met her on August 5).

We can certainly tell Carson and Grace are siblings - they have been showing the love and spirit of being siblings more than ever this summer and can go from hugs and kisses one minute to pestering each other the next.  Ahh...memories of our childhoods!  They really do love each other and Carson is a fierce protector of Grace.

Since Trav, Carson and Grace are still under the weather, we're having a quiet day at home.  It's also so hot and muggy out so it would be hard to do anything outdoors.  We've got an afternoon planned with games and maybe a movie.  We'll have a special supper tonight too.

The two years have flown by - I'll never forget watching the opening ceremony of the Olympics in China on 08-08-08 and watching Grace run around our home.

8-8-08 -- That has a really nice ring to it. Maybe we should write: Eight, Eight, OH, Eight. Either way it is a special date to remember. I certainly will always remember the unique arivals of ours, as well. Yes, the 2 years have flown by so quickly. That will be true in the years to come as well -- and you will ask yourself how they could have grown up so quickly. You are doing a WONDERFUL job parenting. It is a joy to read your blog and know how you are making memories to cherish for years to come. Love, and LOTS of prayers. Auntie Diane
