We didn't sleep in too much on Wednesday - our two natural alarm clocks saw to that!
After breakfast, Trav took the kids swimming and I did some laundry at the hotel. We loved free laundry! It was wonderful to arrive home with only three damp swimming suits to wash!
We got packed up and started for home around 11:00. Later than we would have liked, but oh well.
We dealt with awful construction back-ups just a bit north of Madison. We decided to get on some county roads and it paid off. We had a few bathroom breaks, of course. Why is it that two kids' bladders are never in sync?
Grace was exhausted but decided it would be a good day to boycott a nap. When she finally fell asleep before Eau Claire, we were all happy! Carson took some good snoozes too. As Wednesday went on, it was evident Carson had caught a cold over the course of Tuesday/Wednesday. That likely added to the challenges at the bowling alley as well.
We stopped briefly in St. Paul to pick up our shopping purchases at Jeff and Sherryse's. Sorry we missed you, Sherryse!
Next we stopped in Maple Grove to fuel up. Our next stop was St. Cloud!
We were so happy to see Nana and Papa. Not surprisingly, Nana had a supper spread for us. We had a special visit (even though it was way to short). Grace read her favorite book "Llama, Llama Red Pajama" to all of us. Thanks again for your hospitality, Nana and Papa!
We arrived home shortly before midnight. The only one awake was Travis when we pulled into the driveway. He only carried two of the sleeping ones in though...guess who had to fend for herself? ;-)
We were so happy to be home and sleep in our own beds!

Sorry I missed you guys! I would have loved to see you again but my meetings kept me later than I would have liked! I am so glad that you had such a good time! See you guys soon!
