Both Carson and Grace have really made a lot of progress in swimming over the past couple of days. They are both much more self-confident and taking some risks in the pool. Grace has had her life jacket on the whole time and while she clung to Trav or myself the first few rounds in the pool, now she is on her own. Carson is doing all sorts of underwater flips and jumps from the side of the pool. (This is the kid who didn't want to put a toe in the water about 3-4 years ago and up until this summer would rarely put his face in the water.)
With at least 2 trips per day to the pool since Friday, the kids have really found their fins. They have probably spend 1-3 hours each day in the pool here. They are having a great time and their venturing out is heart-warming to see!
