If you are not from this region, I wanted to pass along a few web links if you want to watch some of the flood coverage:
Our local newspaper: http://www.inforum.com/ (specific flood links at the top)
Specific link to photos: http://www.inforum.com/event/photogalleries/tag/photo%20galleries/
Watching river levels: http://www.crh.noaa.gov/ahps2/index.php?wfo=fgf (click on the city you want to see levels for - Fargo and Abercrombie are the two we are watching the most - we have family that are a little ways from Abercrombie that are in a critical situation with the Wild Rice river - Papa Chip came down to help them on Sunday. As of late Monday they have no access in and out. We're doubtful they'll have any access out until at least next Tuesday or Wednesday - hugs and love to you, Evansons! We're praying!)
As you can see with the river levels - once these rivers crest, the water 'hangs' for quite some time. These dikes need to hold for days, not hours. Note that the Red River is one of a few rivers that flows north, so we're closely watching what is happening south of us.

Lots of prayers to all of you! And everyone else in Fargo. It is so moving to hear about everyone who has helped. Do you think that they will still need people to help on Friday or Saturday?
Thinking of you!!
