Wednesday update

Rough news today - with about seven inches of new snow on the ground since last night, sandbaggers continue to be out in full force. Word came this afternoon that no longer is the flood crest predicted to be in the 39-41 foot range. Now 41 feet is the most likely scenario. That level of water has not been through here in at least the last 120 years.

We are very confident our home will be fine. We're built up to at least 43 feet. We have confidence in the sewer override and our three sump pumps.

We've also made some decisions about the safety of our two precious kids that we feel are best. Stay tuned.

School is canceled for Carson the rest of the week (was today - no sand trucks or snow trucks available to clear roads - they are all working with the flood effort).

Stay tuned - will try to update tomorrow night...otherwise Friday morning.
